Owl City Cover Illustration

So I'm attending graphic design school for one year already - time to show you some of my school work.

Topic: CD-Design

I chose the album "Maybe I'm dreaming" by Owl City
I designed the CD package, the CD and the booklet.

Concept:

As Owl City's music feels kind of "light" and "floating" I decided to go with light colors and a light illustration style.

About this piece:

The CD booklet has a special fold which allows you to turn the pages like in a normal book and offers a small poster on the backside at the same time – This is the booklet poster containing the cover art.
