How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Hi there!

Well, it's been a while since the project was finished and the picture was revealed (=> [link] ).
Now that's what happened since then:

You may remember that

made a huge print of the group pic and took it to the Gathering. We agreed that she would pay for the print in advance and would either get her money back from the sale at the Gathering auction or from me in case the print would not be sold. Although our picture got much positive feedback (at least that's what I heard from some Gathering attendees) the print was not sold. So I tried to contact

via note to discuss our next steps. I wanted to try selling the print at DA. I also asked her to give me her paypal information so I can pay her the money back in case we also can't sell the print here. But I did not get a reply. So I wrote a note again ... and again ... and there still is no reply. I'm really worried about her now. I hope she is alright.
Can anyone tell me what happened after the Gathering? Does anyone have news about ? Anyone? Please? I'd be really thankfull for everything!

That sure is strange O.O As her online status is set to invisible I could never tell whether she is online or not. And her last deviation upload and journal update was a while ago. Her last reply on her main page (excluding the one she did today) was from June 6th. She really seemed to have disapeared ... It's almost kind of funny that she wrote a new reply today when I decided to write that journal
