The project started in January 2007 and was just a rather quick and small idea back then. All related journal entries can be found here (chronological order):

First of all a BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG T H A N K Y O U to all participating artists. I'm really overwhelmed by your achievements. Some artists have never tried cell shading before and there was even someone who did her very first computer coloration for this project. There were those who drew for the project allthough they had plenty of obligations in their real lives and barely any spare time at all. There were people who joined in the very last minutes to enrich the picture with their characters and those who drew some extra characters to fill a gap. And you all were AMAZING!!!! I am very very proud to have had the opportunity to work with so many great artists! I am really thankfull!!!!
