Artist's Comments
This is an older pic. I worked on it in the time from August 2004 to November 2004. It was my very first picture for a calendar that was printed and sold. But not only because of that it is something special for me. I think this is the only picture in which I managed to show Brooklyn exactly the way I see him - not only his appearance but his soul.
I drew the sketch in a time in which I had to deal with the most terrible art block that I ever had until then. It was one of the rare good drawings I made in that time. Originally I wanted to use another scene for May 2005 but this sketch expressed much more in my oppinion. I like the way you did the highlights... Brooklyn kinda accentuates from the background because of the different coloring styles. This doesn´t always looks so good but I think it works fine in your Pic

Computer games don't affect kids, I mean if Pac man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching pills and listening to repetitive music!
