Fooling Around

Visiting Taibu always inspires me and it often leads to a new picture. So here it is, a sketch I made today.
Not uploaded in scraps because it was too much work.
No reference at all so I'm sorry for the probably many mistakes ^^

Poor Taibu again without his crown. I'm sorry! I wanted to add it but I like the mane so much! To be honest, I like how the whole lion turned out. It took me a lot of practice to get this far and be able to draw lions that look like lions in some way (not just because of the mane ^^°) - especially because I just can't get along with the lion king style and I had to find my own way of drawing lions. Anyway, I'm still practicing.
